Join us for a discussion about the epidemic of physician burnout and suicide. We’ll explore ways to support burnt out colleagues as well as learn about signs of suicide and how to approach a colleague if worried about them.

1) Define socioeconomic status (SES), including the primary factors of SES and the experiences that contribute to our subjective perception of SES.
2) Enhance effective and ethical patient care by identifying the impact of patient socioeconomic status on clinical care and provider-patient interactions.
3) Describe three strategies to prevent and manage burnout associated with providing care for vulnerable patients.
